Meeting Format
Whether in person or online, the public is welcome to attend Board/Committee Meetings and have access to meeting minutes. Meetings are held once a month and additionally, as determined by the Board/Committee Chair. All meeting Agendas are posted on the school website at least 48 hours in advance of each public meeting.

During the meeting, the Board and its committees follow the published agenda. Gallery members are not part of the formal discussion or deliberations.  Those wishing to speak at a meeting are asked to follow our Privilege of the Floor Policy. To request to speak at a meeting, please complete the following google form before the start of the meeting.

Call the Meeting to Order

Kevin Heayden called a meeting of the FRCS Foundation Inc Committee of Foxborough Regional Charter School to order on Wednesday Mar 4, 2026 at 9:05 AM.

II. FRCS Foundation Inc

A.

New Board Members

  1. Rachel suggested Ashley Walsh and Jim Obenchain.
    1. It was noted they would be great candidates. Ashley is involved with many community events and Jim has such a passion for the students. 
  2. Next Steps? Create Roles and Responsibilities Outline and review questions to submit to Ashley and Jim. 
  3. Invite to Meeting and Send Questions.

Quickbooks Update

  1. Book keeper - Shirley is willing to do it for 40/hr. We need to create a description and expectations to guide her. Karen to assist with this. 
  2. Kevin noted we need a safe! - Karen will connect with Kevin about safes on campus/keys

Procedures

  1. Spending Procedures - Review a Draft by Rachel
    1. All Spending must be Approved by Vice Chair with a Check Request- Toby Sign to approve for checks and balances.

Rodman And Golf Tournament

  1. Revisit - How are all board members helping and being involved?

Update on Scholarships and Travel

  1. Cash to Alex and Malik for expenses. 
  2. $4,400  - $137.50 each | HS - 22 Students: $3,025.00 | MS - 10 Students: $1,375.00
    1. Announce to this to  Families / District and to travel families

Rodman Next Steps

  1. Riders: 8 Signed up! FRCS Staff! 
  2. Gathering more Virtual Riders? Junior Riders? Volunteers? 
  3. Sponsor Smore…who are other vendors non golf we can add?
