R. Lane called a meeting of the Academic Excellence Committee of Pataula Charter Academy, Inc (Serving Pataula Charter Academy and Spring Creek Charter Academy) to order on Monday Feb 10, 2025 at 5:09 PM.

Approve Agenda

R. Lane made a motion to approve the agenda.
K. Gilbert seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Approve Minutes

R. Lane made a motion to approve the minutes from Acacemic Excellence Committee Meeting - October 2024 on 10-28-24.
K. Gilbert seconded the motion.

PCA 2023-2024 CCRPI Comparisons

PCA CCRPI scores were compared to the local districts in the attendance zone.  PCA outperformed the local districts in 10 out of 13 areas on CCRPI for all grade bands and outperformed the local districts on the Overall Gradeband Score for all 3 grade bands.

SCCA 2023-2024 CCRPI Comparisons

PCA CCRPI scores were compared to the local districts in the attendance zone.  PCA outperformed the local districts in 8 out of 11 areas on CCRPI for all grade bands and outperformed the local districts on the Overall Gradeband Score for 2 grade bands (middle and high).  SCCA High School scores outperformed local district averages in ALL applicable areas of CCRPI (Content Mastery, Progress, Readiness, and Overall Gradeband Score).

PCA 2023-2024 SCSC Academic CPF Results

PCA met Academic CPF standards for the 2023-2024 school year due to outperforming the local districts in all or a combination of CCRPI components at each grade band.

SCCA 2023-2024 SCSC Academic CPF Results

SCCA met Academic CPF standards for the 2023-2024 school year due to outperforming the local districts in all or a combination of CCRPI components at each grade band.

Winter 2024 MAP Scores

MAP Winter Growth Scores and Milestones Projected Proficiency reports for both schools were discussed.

G.

School Improvement Plan (Strategic Plan/PD Plan)

The committee was reminded of the improvement efforts that were put in place this year and of progress/adjustments to the plan.
