Call the Meeting to Order

C. Weathersby called a meeting of the Finance Committee of Pataula Charter Academy, Inc (Serving Pataula Charter Academy and Spring Creek Charter Academy) to order on Monday Oct 21, 2024 at 5:07 PM.

C.

Approve Minutes

H. Worsley made a motion to approve the minutes from September Finance Meeting on 09-16-24.
R. Collins seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

D.

Approve Agenda

The following items were added to the Agenda:

II. D. Pataula - Approval for Fiber Repair

II. E. SCCA  - Approval for purchase of additional Access Control panels. 

R. Collins made a motion to Approve the Agenda as amended.
H. Worsley seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

II. Finance

A.

Pataula - Monthly Financial Reports

The Committee reviewed Pataula financials through August 2024. PCA is on track to meet on Financial CPF. 

B.

SCCA - Monthly Financial Reports

The Committee reviewed financials through August 2024. SCCA is on track to meet on Financial CPF.

C.

SCCA - SRO Vehicle Purchase

Cheryl is requesting approval to purchase a Ford Explorer from Riverbend Ford for the SRO at Spring Creek. The purchase price of the vehicle is $16,934.50.

R. Collins made a motion to Approve the purchase of a Ford Explorer for the SRO at Spring Creek from Riverbend Ford for the purchase price of $16,934.50.
G. Flowers seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

D.

Pataula - Approval for Fiber Repair

During installation of the new primary playground at Pataula the fiber optics were cut to the new field house. Cheryl is requesting approval for SGA Networks to repair the fiber at a price of $9,000. 

R. Collins made a motion to Approve SGA Networks repair cut fiber optics a price of $9,000.
G. Flowers seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

E.

SCCA - Approval for Access Control Panels

Cheryl is requesting approval to use Safety Grant monies at SCCA to install additional Access Control Panels. The price to install additional control panels for every entrance at Spring Creek is $11,750.00. Cheryl is recommending we use Action Alarm for this install due to the only bid available and they are the company that installed the first phase of controls. 

R. Collins made a motion to Approve Action Alarm's installation of additional Access Control Panels at Spring Creek for the price of $11,750.00.
G. Flowers seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 5:30 PM.
