Biggest Metrics to Measure: 
 

1. LEAP Scores

  • Results for the previous year are given in August. 
  • 5-10% growth in all subjects & Grades on LEAP. 
  • Maybe there's a longer term goal for leap that is school based grade is maintained or moved every three years?

2. MAP Scores

  • Occurs 3x a year in August, December and March. Take about a week to do with results in 48 hours. 

Ideas to measure across both spectrums are:

  • Ineffective- Way below grade level (D, F >). 
  • Effective emerging- Below grade level (C >) 
  • Effective proficient- Grade level (B >) 
  • Highly effective- Above Grade level (A >)

Decisions to make: 

  • Can we confirm LEAP & Map for measurements on the HoS Eval?
  • Will the evaluation from the year before happen after results are released for LEAP or before?
  • How do we consider growth and grade level for each metric?
  • Schedule out what the year needs to look like in order to ensure there are routine opportunities to step back.
