Call the Meeting to Order

A. Gomez called a meeting of the board of directors of ARISE High School to order on Tuesday Jan 23, 2024 at 5:00 PM.

II. Consent Calendar

Approve Minutes

M. Iglesias made a motion to approve the minutes from ARISE Full Board on 12-12-23.
L. Flaxman seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

III. Closed Session - Expulsion Hearing Case #01092024

Closed Session - Expulsion Hearing Case #01092024

Head of School presents case, witnesses present their statements, and their final recommendation for expulsion. 

A. Gomez made a motion to Accepting recommendation to expel Tomari Jones from ARISE.
R. Garcia seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 6:08 PM.
