Call the Meeting to Order

D. Bryson called a meeting of the Governance Committee of ARISE High School to order on Friday Mar 25, 2022 at 2:06 PM.

Approve Resolution to continue remote meetings in accordance with AB 361

R. Garcia made a motion to continue remote meetings in accordance with AB 361.
A. Gomez seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

Approve Prior Minutes

A. Gomez made a motion to Approve Prior Minutes.
R. Garcia seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

II. Governance

A.

Board Recruitment Update

Committee discusses new potential new board members for 22-23 school year. 

 

We planned to discuss committee chair roles in April. 

 

 

III. Closed Session

A.

Closed Session PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT (Gov. Code section 54957(b)(1).) Title: Head of School

No action taken.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 2:59 PM.
