Call the Meeting to Order
S. Beck called a meeting of the Resource Development & Outreach Committee of Elgin Math & Science Academy to order on Thursday Nov 13, 2025 at 4:31 PM.
C.
Approval of Minutes
T. Gandhi made a motion to approve the minutes from Development Committee meeting on 10-08-25.
S. Beck seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
II. Resource Development & Outreach
A.
Board Fundraising - $10,000 goal
B.
Annual Campaign - Giving Tuesday
Discussion around Giving Tuesday, popcorn fundraiser and spreading families too thin.
Email will be sent on Monday, Dec. 1st to mailing list and families. Flyer goes home Tuesday with kids - two ways to give (popcorn fundraiser and general donations).
C.
EPTC Fundraising
$6000 raised from NOC
Popcorn fundraiser - flyers went home to all students, wristbands going home next week, announcements and posting on social media - goal is to raise $3000
D.
Bowling Bash Planning
Discussed refreshing lists and systems from last year and official planning will start in the new year.
