Vision: We can empower all students to create local, relevant and meaningful HQW when teachers incorporate student funds of knowledge, student voice, and student agency. We believe that creating HQW is a process that incorporates productive struggle, mistake making, risk-taking, multiple opportunities for mastery/revision, feedback and celebration. 

 

Why: By challenging, engaging, and empowering ALL students to create HQW, we signal that our students are at the forefront of creating a better world with work that matters. It shows them (students), and those that have limiting beliefs about them, that they are capable of more than they ever thought possible.
