  I. IDOT - Traffic on I-25
   

Dan will update Committee on his outreach to IDOT - Matt MacAnery.

 

DA spoke with Matt week of 8.22, he promised to "ring the bell" inside his agency again.  However, still no contact from engineers at IDOT or consultants regarding traffic speed.  DA has had the same conversation with Matt 3-4 times over the past year.

 

Can Rep. Moeller contact IDOT again?

  K. Tree signs
   

Small signs for trees - FastSigns company suggested a sustainable material sign at lower cost than wood.

See attached for suggested materials.

 

10 of the "max metal" signs with vinyl overlay are now $266, or $26 apiece in that quantity.  The vendor gave us a discount and threw in the cost of holes in the signs, but material costs have increased (was $206.92 this spring).

 

There is no change in the cost of 10 cedar carven signs.  Still $713.75 as it was this spring

 

What will the signs say exactly?

Bryan Wagner says we will have access to the study being prepared in 2-3 weeks. so by Sept. 20th roughly, at the latest.

  A. Budget review
   

1.  Can the Committee vote to approve, on behaf of the Master Planning Committee, $9400 for Wheeler Kearns to expend on civil engineering for water mitigation strategies benefitting the campus area near the Administration Building.  

 

2.  Discuss landscaping budget line items and where additional grounds and facilities expenses can best be identified in the budget process.
