B.
LCPS Network-Wide Instruction Partners Data
Tina Hernandez, Chief Academic Officer, presented LCPS network-wide data in areas of ELA and Math, noting areas of strength and areas for growth. The Committee discussed trends in the organizational data.
C.
LCPS Site-Based Instruction Partners Data
Tina Hernandez presented slides giving data on each school site's IPG scores, giving context, action plans, and reflections. The Committee discussed the sample size of classroom data and what this means for instruction overall at sites.
D.
Impact on Emerging Bilinguals
Tina Hernandez presented on the subject of emerging bilinguals. Students who identify as speaking English as a second language are showing us leading indicators that this group of students are succeeding well this year in the organization.
Robbie Torney, Chief of Staff, shows updated data snapshot about our ELPAC scores comparing 21-22 to 22-23, noting that LCPS can see indicators that ELD programs are having positive effects on our ELD students, leading discussion into how LCPS uses data to drive instruction.
The Committee responded positively to the data.
