Shawanda Brown called a meeting of the Budget / Finance Committee of Delta STEAM Academy to order on Monday Sep 18, 2023 at 8:01 PM.

II. Budget / Finance
A.
Budget Meetings - Chair Churchill attended the meeting to discuss topics to be discussed during the budget hearings

Financial Handbook
The finance committee to review the financial handbook to determine if any amendments will be recommended and presented to the Board
C.
2023-2024 Budget
Finance Committee will meet with Candace Ramsey to determine if any amendments should be made to the 2023-2024 budget due to number of students enrolled.
D.
EdTech Meetings
- Finance Committe members Shawanda Brown and Vanessa Mason attended August financial review with EdTech.
- EdTech sent August financials on September 18th.
- Finance Committee will schedule a meeting with Candace to review agenda for the budget hearings and to discuss Mrs. Ramsey's and the finance committee's roles and responsibilities.
