Call the Meeting to Order
D. Draughon Jr. called a meeting of the board of directors of Achievement Prep to order on Wednesday Mar 6, 2024 at 6:35 PM.

Approve Minutes
S. Rosenbaum made a motion to approve the minutes from Achievement Prep Board Meeting on 01-17-24.
P. Grant seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.
II. State of the School
A.
Updates
- Lewis gave assessment, attendance, hiring, and enrollment updates before sharing highlights re: our Founder's Day, Elite basketball team, and the Scholastic Book Fair.
- Within the first 48 hours, the Board had already contributed $700 for toward the book fair, enabling every scholar to receive a book whether they can afford their own or not. Much gratitude!
III. Finance Committee

Finance Topics
- Susie shared our December financials.
- Ms. Jones and Dr. Lewis gave an update on the refinance.
- Erica shared the next restaurant school fundraising event.
- More intentional fundraising opportunities going into next year!
IV. Items for Vote

Board Trustees
- We welcomed Mr. Roberts, new Parent Trustee!
- Board Chair, Dwight, encouraged Trustees to go into their network for new board members as Kenneth Ward's membership has lapsed,
