Call the Meeting to Order

D. Draughon Jr. called a meeting of the board of directors of Achievement Prep to order on Wednesday May 27, 2026 at 6:38 PM.

State of the School

SL provided high-level updates in advance of our upcoming Retreat.  Those updates included:

  • Academics - Recent Assessments completed (DC CAPE) and in progress (MAP)
  • Accreditation - Current status and stakeholder data analysis
  • DPA Partnership - upcoming APREP/DPA meeting to discuss highlights of our co-location and areas for improvement, etc.
  • DC Budget - Where we are in the process and how funding has/is impacting 

II. Executive Session - Governance

Confidential Personnel Discussion

S. Rosenbaum made a motion to Go into Executive Session.
C. Hill seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

III. Closing Items

A.

Adjourn Meeting

J. Johnson made a motion to Adjourn.
K. Cooper seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.
There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 7:52 PM.
