  A. Accelerating Student Growth in SY26 and Planning for SY27 Discuss Robert Rametti 40 m

Purpose:
Our purpose is to review SY26 school-level academic performance data, guide the goal creation process for our open-ended response (OER) writing strategy, and to provide strategic input on Tier 1 vs Tier 2 investments for SY27.

Key Questions for the Outcomes Committee to Address:

  • What metric would best capture student engagement and growth in OER performance?
  • What feels like an ambitious but achievable goal for student participation?
  • Should we differentiate expectations across grade levels?
  • What percentage of our literacy resources should go to tier 1 vs. tier 2?
  • How do we ensure tier 1 improvements actually reduce tier 2 needs?
  • What investments are highest leverage at this moment in time?

  A. SY26 Persistence Project Update Discuss Aaron Canto 25 m

Purpose: To review the Persistence Project's current work and data trends and to solicit feedback on strategy focus and metrics.

Key Questions for the Outcomes Committee to Address:

  • While 4-year access remains a strong point, is there one place within this pipeline (application, acceptance, matriculation) that we should intervene more deeply next year?
  • How do we grapple with 2-year affordability and underrepresented minority (URM) grad rates impact how we think about 4-year matriculation?
  • We have not conducted a “white paper” analysis of alumni persistence factors since 2019. If we were to analyze this again, what sorts of questions or indicators would we want to track?
