An mailing list was sent out through email last week. The task of calling and asking for names of invitees was divvyed up between the three of us, John, Melisa and Ayad. Let's share names collected and look at options for invitation cards and envelops to send out. Some questions to think about:

 

Should we include in the invitation card an itinerary of events during the fundraiser, such as speeches, videos etc.  

 

Let us look at the schedule of tasks toward the fundraiser, to be held on October 2nd, that John and Ayad drew up in their last meeting and see if it still holds. 

 

Shall we include a silent auction in the fundraiser? If so who should we contact for that? 

 

  E. Appeal
   

Let's talk about the four page appeal that the school produced and ways to distribute it around the community. Is it too cumbersome? Can we reduce it to a small card we can hand over to businesses and colleagues? 

  F. Asks
   

We have already sent out one ask and were not successful. Are there other philanthropic companies we could approach for the same purpose? Please generate a list of two or three and if possible names and addresses and let us discuss them.
