PCM will need an attorney to review our master lease and Letter of Intent (and eventually loan) form our RAZA that will be presented to the board for review soon. PCM also needs an attorney for other small items and in the event of litigation.

HOS note: I have interviewed attorney prospects recommended by sector members. Interviewed Peter Smith of Apex Law and Sallie Lin of Stoel Rivers LLP. Apex is a small, regional, non-litigation firm specialized in non-profit law. Stoel Rivers is a large national law firm that provides litigation attorneys when necessary (triple the price).
Please send any questions my way and I can provide answers at the meeting. HOS recommendation: Provide retainer to contract Apex Law services for small items such as reviewing leases, construction contracts, and other more detailed policies. Keep Stoel contact on hand in the event litigation is ever needed. Suggested motion: I make a motion to approve that Laylah connect with Apex Law on the behalf of the PCM board and provide them a $1,000 retainer.
