Robert Peterson called a meeting of the Finance Committee of Explorations Charter School to order on Monday Jul 8, 2024 at 10:04 AM.

Approve Minutes from 6-20-2024 - Finance Committee Meeting
Ginni Block made a motion to approve the minutes from 6-20-24 Finance Committee Meeting on 06-20-24.
Robert Peterson seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Christine Spencer, Grant Writing Consultant/Funding Strategist from Global Grant Writing Collective, summarized what she can offer as a grant writer. She can get initial input from Jill/administratirs in a 60-90 minute session. She would then scour a
sit of over 200 grants that would give highest likelihood of success. Christine would write up a one page prospectus which we could use to introduce ourselves to such organizations. The basic fee is $3000 for 12-18 months. For an additional fee she could write the grants. Jill stated that getting the basic package would save time and allow any currently allocated funds to be reallocated where needed if we do get grants.
Bob and Ginni agreed this is worth looking into and proposed that the finance committee present the information at the Board retreat on August 3.
