Call the Meeting to Order
A. Lee called a meeting of the board of directors of Miles Ahead Charter School to order on Thursday Jan 11, 2024 at 8:01 PM.

Vote to Create an Inclement Weather Policy for the Executive Director
E. Miller made a motion to accept the Policy Statement to.
C. Browne-Roberts seconded the motion.
- Discussed a policy to put in place when inclement weather occurs.
- Put in place a policy that follows Cobb County school system school closing schedule and that also follows staffing concerns related to surrounding counties school closures. Also include after-school care closures as well.
- Policy statement for inclement weather days: Miles Ahead Charter School will follow the decision of Cobb County Public Schools pending staffing concerns that prevent us from operating at an optimal level. The Executive Director will make the decision that is in the best interest of the safety of students and staff at MACS.
