H. Smith called a meeting of the Governance Committee Committee of Miles Ahead Charter School to order on Thursday Oct 1, 2026 at 7:04 PM.

U. Sayers made a motion to approve the minutes from MACS Monthly Governance Meeting on 09-10-26.
H. Lust seconded the motion.

II. Governance Committee Updates
A.
Governance Committee Updates
- RFP for financial services provider was posted to the MACs website earlier this week.
- Governance committee needs to recruit additional members for the board; it is a priority. We currently have 8 members. Ideally, we would have 12.
- Governance committee discussed the current Executive Director stepping out of the role of Executive Director and joining the board.
- All policies have been reviewed by the Governance committee and approved by the board.
