This Meeting will be conducted by telephone conference in accordance with the Governor’s
authorization concerning the suspension of certain open meeting law requirements for COVID-19.

Call the Meeting to Order
Dr. Denise Miner-Williams called a meeting of the Academic Excellence Committee of Prelude Preparatory Board of Directors to order on Friday Dec 5, 2025 at 8:04 AM.

Approve Minutes
Lauren Lewis made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Excellence Committee Meeting on 11-05-25.
Dr. Denise Miner-Williams seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

Staffing
Fully staffed with 11 teachers and 7 instructional support staff

Enrollment and Attendance
164 students.
Attendance is slightly down but remains very good. Cycle 2 95.57% YTD 95.81%

Superintendent Comments
1. Prelude received an award last night for extraordinary student growth presented by Choose to Succeed. The banner will be hung in the school.
2. Student supports: there are six more student in the SpEd program. Aides, all with para professional certification, are in the classrooms with the large ability variability to provide assistance to the teachers.
