Notice is hereby given that a board meeting is scheduled at 09:00 AM.
This Meeting will be held at Prelude Prep- 1707 Centennial Blvd. San Antonio, TX 78211.

 

Items will not necessarily be discussed or considered in the order they are printed on the

agenda below. If, during the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should

be held in an executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such executive or closed

session as permitted by and in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.

Program, Program Intent and Anticipated Allocation

Title I, Part A anticipated allocation: $114,116

Program Intent: Funding for resources to help schools with high concentrations of students from low-income families provide a high-quality education enabling all children to meet the state's student performance standards. 

Proposed Uses:Instructional coaching and School Culture Facilitator salaries, leadership coaching, parent family engagement activities, outside learning activities, behavior and truancy support contracted services, professional development

 

 

Title II, Part A anticipated allocation: $8,155

Program Intent:Teacher and Principal Training and Recruiting Funds (TPTR) are designated to supplement staff development in district/campus priority areas, enhance recruiting, hiring, and retention of highly qualified teachers and improve the quality of our principal, teacher, and paraprofessional work force through staff development.

Proposed Uses: Transfer to Title I, Part A for Title I, Part A use

 

 

Title III, Part A ELA anticipated allocation: Did not apply

Program Intent: English Language Acquisition, Language Enhancement, and Academic Achievement Act Funds ensure that English Learner students develop English proficiency and meet the same academic achievement standards other students achieve.

Proposed Uses: N/A

 

 

Title III, Part A Immigrant anticipated allocation: Did not apply

Program Intent: Additional Immigrant Funds are granted to districts that have experienced a significant increase in the percentage and number of immigrant children to provide activities such as family literacy, parent outreach, mentoring, as well as academic and career counseling to immigrant children and youth.

Proposed Uses:N/A

 

Title IV, Part A anticipated allocation: $10,000

Program Intent: Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grant Funds are designed to improve students’ academic achievement by increasing the capacity of the district to provide access to, and opportunities for, a well-rounded education for all students; improve school conditions in order to create a healthy and safe school environment; and improve access to technology in the classroom.

Proposed Uses:Transfer to Title I, Part A for Title I, Part A use

 

 

IDEA-B Formula anticipated allocation: $28,308

Program Intent: Funding for supplemental resources to help LEAs ensure that eligible students (ages 3-21) with disabilities are provided with a free appropriate public education as required by federal statute.

Proposed Uses: Contracted special education services

 

 

IDEA-B Preschool anticipated allocation: $575

Program Intent: Funding for supplemental resources to help LEAs ensure that eligible students (ages 3-5) with disabilities are provided with a free appropriate public education as required by federal statute.
