Proposed Academics Committee Goals Goal 1: In collaboration with LGS's financial consultant, revise and create greater efficiency in the monthly/quarterly budget statements.

Proposed Academics Committee Goal(s) Goal 1: Strengthen Instructional Quality and Curriculum Fidelity The Academics Committee will monitor and support efforts to ensure that at least 80% of classrooms demonstrate consistent use of curriculum and effective tracking of student learning goals. This will be achieved by reviewing classroom observation data semiannually or quarterly, ensuring that professional development is aligned with identified needs for teachers and staff, and recommending adjustments to instructional supports as needed.
Goal 2: Increase Student Engagement and Progress Toward Learning Targets The Academics Committee will oversee and review academic data to ensure that at least 75% of students meet their academic targets. This will be achieved by monitoring benchmark assessment results, ensuring intervention systems are in place for struggling students, and supporting school leadership accountability initiatives for attendance that directly impact student achievement and student and family engagement.
