Reviewed the updated draft of the Board Member Handbook and discussed next steps.

Reviewed the proposed committees for 2023-24 and what positions (chair, committee member) are open. Board members are encouraged to consider what committees they may be interested in serving on in preparation for finalizing in the July annual meeting.

Amanda provided an update on the school including recent professional development, upcoming 5th year celebration and report, grants to which we've been applying, and enrollment and recruitment.

Budgeting Updates and Overview
Lauren shared an overview of legislative updates and Future's approach to budgeting in the 23-24 school year, including the approach for approving the 23-24 salary and pay schedules for certified and classified staff.
We went around sharing a response to the opening question in honor of Future's 5th birthday.
