Board members reviewed, discussed and approved the financial statements from February 2023.

Advocacy Efforts Update
Andy Engel of The Hamilton Consulting Group updated Board members on advocacy efforts to date. Visits with legislators have been very positive. Mr. Engel and his colleagues will share suggestions for board member communication with legislators as efforts progress.

Department Reports
Written department reports were shared with Board members for review.
M. Dyslin, T. Jay, and J. Moore, OCS Principal and 6th grade teachers, provided an update of STAR assessment data and the growth scholars are experiencing. T. Jay eloquently shared her observations around some of the challenges children faced at the beginning of the school year and the many positive changes she has seen in One City's 6th graders.
