Pirlot of The Hamilton Consulting Group, LLC. will provide details around Wisconsin’s Joint Committee on Finance passage of a broad K-12 funding package including Senate Bill 330 that provides a historic and necessary funding increase for independent public charter schools.

The passage of SB 330 by JCF represents a bipartisan, collaborative effort between the legislature and the governor to support children attending all schools across Wisconsin. Lobbyists will explain the impact of this on One City Schools, answer Board Members questions and share next steps in our advocacy efforts.

K. Caire and G. Wiseman will share the current state of fundraising and plans for future fundraising with Board members, including our plan to celebrate One City's 10th anniversary with a fundraising event in July 2024.
We will continue the discussion of features of the event begun at our May 2023 board meeting and identify what steps we will take to plan this effort going forward. We will identify a time in July 2023 for Board members to attend a half-day retreat to develop the framework of the event, identify Host Committee members and set a fundraising goal. |
