Ted Beck has resigned as Treasurer, effective October 1. Board vote to approve Joanne Louis as Treasurer effective October 1, 2022.

 

 
  B. Vote on Foundation Contract with SCSC Vote Michele Neely & Adria Welcher 15 m
   

The SCSC will begin providing operational support to the SCSF through a contract, allowing the SCSF to use funds as needed based on an approved budget. The contract must be approved by the SCSF board. The previous plan to include personnel in the contract has been revised.

The committee will discuss the strategic planning process and set dates.

We will discuss the current state of the initiative, including administrative tasks, partnerships, and timelines.

 

The Executive Committee will vote on approval of the Charter Growth Initiative Selection Committee's recommendation for the first two school cohorts:

  • Replication & Expansion Cohort program (program participation, up to $300,000 in grants): D.E.L.T.A. STEAM Academy, Du Bois Integrity Academy, Liberty Classical Schools, Museum School of Avondale Estates, Tybee Island Maritime Academy, Utopian Academy for the Arts
  • New School Leader Fellowship program (program participation, $100,000 leader stipend, up to $300,000 in grants): Miles Ahead Charter School, Sankofa Montessori, The Anchor School
