Call the Meeting to Order

S. Wiggin called a meeting of the board of directors of Parker Performing Arts School to order on Tuesday Feb 25, 2020 at 6:04 PM.

PPA Vision: As the performing arts school of choice, we foster confidence, celebrate diversity, and emphasize academic excellence.
 
PPA Mission: Parker Performing Arts School equips students to become independent creative thinkers, critical problem solvers, and successful collaborators. In our safe learning environment, students engage in rich and innovative instruction in academics and the performing arts in preparation for their roles as citizens of a diverse and increasingly globalized community.

Rosmar are putting together a private placement packet by Friday 2/28 and future discussion to exist between board and FI, Matt O'Mera in future.

* Will evaluate plan to begin to recruit for open seats, individuals whom want to return for upcoming in April/May.

Considering options for recruiting:
The PPA Board of Directors is looking to expand its membership, as well as elect new members to vacant seats. If you are interested in serving the PPA community, we are seeking volunteers who are not only inspired and motivated by our mission, but also have expertise in any of the following areas:
    • Event planning
    • Organizational communication specialties
    • Legal/Counsel experience
    • Educators or education industry experience
    • Human Resources
    • Non-profit expertise, including previous board experience
    • Business development/fundraising
    • Advertising/Marketing
    • Arts community experience
We desire to have interested volunteers identified by 3/22 in preparation for our PPA Board Elections which take place the week of April 13, 2020.
