II. Vote: Update Academic in Charter to Include Expansion Grades 12:01 PM
 

Danielle Mack, Head of School, will request the Board to vote on an expansion of our academic goals in our charter to include the new grades.

  • Goal 1: Students at the Charter School will demonstrate mastery in ELA.
  1. Measure 1: Seventy percent (80%) of students in 6th grade will be proficient + in ELA on the Georgia Milestones.  
  2. Measure 2: Seventy percent (80%) of students in 7th grade will be proficient + in ELA on the Georgia Milestones.
  3. Measure 3: Seventy percent (80%) of students in 8th grade will be proficient + in ELA on the Georgia Milestones.

 

  • Goal 2: Students at the Charter School will demonstrate mastery in Math.
  1. Measure 1: Seventy percent (80%) of students in 6th grade will be proficient + in Math on the Georgia Milestones.  
  2. Measure 2: Seventy percent (80%) of students in 7th grade will be proficient + in Math on the Georgia Milestones.
  3. Measure 3: Seventy percent (80%) of students in 8th grade will be proficient + in Math on the Georgia Milestones.

 

  • Goal 3: Students at the Charter School will demonstrate mastery in Science.
  1. Measure 1: Seventy percent (80%) of students in 8th grade will be proficient + in Science on the Georgia Milestones.  

 

  • Goal 4: Students at the Charter School will demonstrate mastery in Social Studies.
  1. Measure 1: Seventy percent (80%) of students in 8th grade will be proficient + in Social Studies on the Georgia Milestones.
