Video/Audio Conferencing Notice: Pursuant to Governor Abbott’s Temporary Suspension of Open Meetings Laws issued on March 16, 2020, the July 8, 2021 TCA+A Special Session of the Board Meeting will be conducted via video conference on the Zoom Video Conference platform, which will be audible to the Board and public and allow for two-way communication. The Board Chair, presiding officer, or trustees will not be physically present at one location, but a quorum will be required for the meeting on the video conference or phone.

FWAFA 2021-2022 Student Handbook
Charles Reid made a motion to approve the FWAFA 2021-2022 Student Handbook as presented by administration.
Leslie Scott seconded the motion.

- Virtual Learning - will not have as the State will not pay for it
- Drop-off / Pick-up changes
- Mask Mandate - per Governor's Executive Order mask will not be mandatory
- Conservatory times for after school added
- MTSS and RTI employee names changed to read titles instead
- School Counselors aren't required by charter schools but we do have them
- Class Credit outside of FWAFA
- Gifted and Talented verbiage to match TEA's
- Extracurricular eligibility
- Promotion and Retention language change
- Academic Honesty

- Celebratory Treats info
- Updated performance attire for different programs
- Administration unanimously wants to keep dress code the same as gender neutral

Charles Reid made a motion to approve the TeSA 2021-2022 Student Handbook as presented by administration.
Leslie Wade seconded the motion.

Texas Boys Choir 2021-2022 Handbook
Charles Reid made a motion to approve Texas Boys Choir Student Handbook as presented by administration.
Michael Wellbaum seconded the motion.

- Amount suggested for tour increased from $2,500/participant to $5,000/participate to represent funds needed for the Korea trip
- Grade eligibility to participate
- Dress code - removed items not being used anymore

Singing Girls of Texas 2021-2022 Handbook
Daniel Bates made a motion to approve the SGT 2021-2022 Student Handbook as presented by administration.
Mary A. Zimmerman seconded the motion.
