Beth Lamb reported that the overall goal for Join Our Movement is $100,000.  To date, $72,688 has been raised.  $22,558 was raised on North Texas Giving Day.  Mr. Riley and Mrs. Lamb are working to finalize the letter for the Board letter campaign, and prompted the Board to go ahead and send names and addresses for those letters if they have them.

B.

Gala

Melissa Goodroe reminded the Board to put April 7th on the calendar for this year's Gala event.  She informed the Board that their responsibilities for Gala were to help gain attendance and to either buy or build a table in order to obtain the goal of not having to sell individual tickets.  4 or 5 tables for the event have already been sold through Events Manager Cindy Salter.  Board members may contact Clint Riley, Cindy Salter, or Anne Cox to make commitment for a Gala table.

IV. Other Business

A.

Schools Enrollment

The Board was updated on the current enrollment totals for Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts and Texas School of the Arts for the 2016-2017 school year.  FWAFA has 570 students enrolled with a maximum enrollment of 588, and TeSA has 344 students enrolled with a maximum of 350.

B.

Calendar Reminders

A calendar of upcoming events was given to the Board and Mr. Riley pointed out that the Arts & Eats luncheon and The Arts Gala are opportunities for cultivation in the areas of sponsors, donors, and potential Board members.  He also stated that the performance subscriber series is a great way to invite people to see the biggest/splashiest productions the organization offers.
