Call the Meeting to Order
Melissa Goodroe called a meeting to order on Monday May 2, 2016 at 6:08 PM.

Approve Minutes
Steven Johnson made a motion to approve minutes from the Board Meeting on 01-19-16 Board Meeting on 01-19-16.
Anne Cox seconded the motion.
The team VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

II. Finance
A.
Financial report: January, February, March 2016
January, February and March financials were received to file for audit.
III. Academic
A.
Approve 2016-2017 School Calendars
Michael Wellbaum arrived.
Beth Lamb made a motion to Approve the 2016-2017 calendars for FWAFA and TeSA.
Kristy Mouser seconded the motion.
The team VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
B.
IMAT Certification
Annual IMAT certification for FWAFA and TeSA will be signed and sent to TEA for 2016-2017 instructional materials orders.
IV. Facilities & Operations
A.
Review updated budget for FWAFA Growth Plan: Phase I
Steven Johnson made a motion to approve all items in the adjusted budget for Phase 1 growth plan less the flooring costs, plus the 2 optional paint and fence items.
Anne Cox seconded the motion.
The team VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
B.
Present - FWAFA Roof Repair/Replace
Kristy Mouser made a motion to have a complete roof replacement at FWAFA done by Joe Hall roofing for $159,118.00 this summer.
Ann Dunkin seconded the motion.
The team VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
V. Artistic
A.
FWAFA Music Department Update
A course description catalogue has now been created for FWAFA course offerings. Music department personnel updates include Victor Johnson as Director of SGT and Academy Singers/Men's Ensemble. Cory Curvin will direct the middle school and high school mixed choirs.
VI. Other Business
A.
Good News Reports
FWAFA received several nominations for it's production of "39 Steps" including Best Play and Best Actor (Ryder Hartsfield).
Several FWAFA students will be competing in the academic UIL state competitions in Math this year, and all 4 of FWAFA's art students entered in competition earned medals.
Upcoming events include: Kathleen Connor Theater dedication at TeSA May 16th, FWAFA graduation June 3rd at McKinney Memorial Bible Church, and the TBC European tour beginning May 15th. TBC will hold a Homecoming concert at Broadway Baptist on June 5th.
?Congratulations to Sheyna Ferraro on the production of Napoli, including a nice reception prior to the event.
