Agenda

I. Opening Items
  A. Record Attendance
  B. Call the Meeting to Order
II. Finance
  A. FY2022 Financials

  • FYTD figures and relevant commentary (if any)
  B. Expenses that Need Board Approval

  • For this year, I would like to revisit the "Expenses that need board approval" policies and make changes when needed it. Also, while we work under the current policies any expense that needs board approval has to be accompanied with an explanation of the expense, the costs and the budget line it hits.
III. Other Business
  A. Lower Campus Capital Improvement

The board along some members of the community (parent's public and private comments, teachers, and staff) have raised significant concerns with the lower campus facility regarding safety (i.e. mold) as well as wear and tear of some of the infrastructure (leaking pipes, air conditioning). We know that we are constraint with the "no ownership" of lower campus but at the moment we have to make a decision whether to invest in the current infrastructure so the day to day operation of the school can get up to standard. I believe facilities has a working plan with room to grow but we need to assess the potential financial outlay and how the school can afford/finance it, given that the board approves the plan and its financial impact
  B. Student Transportation funded by GLOBE

  • Feasibility and initial study before producing financial analysis.
    • Perhaps before commiting to logistic and operations we can set a transportation fund that would analyze the cases/
  • Hiring someone to do an analysis or do it in house?
IV. Closing Items
  A. Adjourn Meeting
