The LCAP is approved as part of the LCFF funding model for the state of California. The funds are primarily used to fund programs for unduplicated students. The LCAP is annually approved by the board with the budget.   AC. Approval for 2026-2028 CCSA Membership
   

The Board of Directors will consider approving the renewal of the California Charter School Association (CCSA) membership for a two-year term covering the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 membership years. The total cost of the two-year prepaid membership is $178,800.

 
  AD. Approval of Employee Performance Stipend for Fiscal Year 2025–2026
   

It is recommended that the Board of Directors approve a one-time performance stipend for eligible Mojave River Academy employees for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. To recognize and reward the dedication, commitment, and contributions of staff throughout the year, administration proposes providing a one-time performance stipend based on each employee's length of service during the fiscal year to ensure equitable distribution among staff members. Employees must be actively employed with Mojave River Academy at the time the stipend is distributed to be eligible. The fiscal impact will be determined based on the number of eligible employees and their respective hire dates and will be funded through current-year personnel budget allocations.

  AE. Approval of Increase to Employee Health and Welfare Benefits Cap
   

It is recommended that the Board of Directors approve an increase to the maximum annual employer contribution for eligible employee health and welfare benefits to $25,000 per employee, effective July 1, 2026. To remain competitive with surrounding districts, attract and retain high-quality personnel, and address the rising cost of healthcare, administration recommends adjusting the current benefits structure. Increasing the health and welfare benefits cap will help reduce out-of-pocket healthcare expenses for employees while supporting employee recruitment, retention, and overall well-being. The fiscal impact will vary based on employee health plan selections and the number of eligible full-time equivalent (FTE) employees and will be incorporated into the 2026–2027 fiscal year budget.

 
  AF. Approval of Clever IDM Three-Year Subscription Agreement
   

The Board of Directors will consider approving a three-year subscription agreement with Clever for Identity Management (IDM) services to support student, teacher, and staff account management and authentication, at a total cost of $22,230.01 over the contract term.

 
  AG. Approval of TeamViewer Tensor Support Three-Year Subscription Agreement
   

The Board of Directors will consider approving a three-year subscription agreement with TeamViewer for Tensor Support services, which provide secure remote access and device management capabilities to support IT operations. The agreement includes support for four Tensor Support users, management of up to 1,000 devices, and enterprise integration services at a total cost of $9,716.11 for the three-year term.

 
  AH. Approval of Agreement with MOOV
   

The Board of Directors will consider approving an agreement with MOOV for visitor management, student check-in and check-out, facility access management, and student ID card production. The proposed agreement is for an amount not to exceed $103,000.

 
  AI. Approval of It's My Life Curriculum for Certificate Track Health Essentials Courses
   

The Board of Directors will consider approving the It's My Life curriculum for use in Certificate Track Health Essentials courses.

 
  AJ. Approval of IXL Learning Site License and Professional Development Services
   

The Board of Directors will consider approving a three-year agreement with IXL Learning for a site license providing Math and Science instructional services for up to 500 students in grades K–12, including professional development services.

 
  AK. Approval of Service Agreement with Care Solace, Inc. for Mental Health and Social Services Care Coordination Support
   

The Board of Directors will consider approving a service agreement with Care Solace, Inc. to provide mental health and social services care coordination and referral support for Mojave River Academy students, families, and authorized users, expanding access to community-based providers and support services. The fiscal impact is $12,500 for the initial term through June 30, 2027.

 
  AL. Approval of The Art of Education Curriculum and Professional Learning Agreement
   

The Board of Directors will consider approving the contract with The Art of Education in the amount of $17,771 for curriculum and professional learning resources to support high school A-G Visual and Performing Arts courses and project coordinators for the contract term of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

 
  AM. Approval of ESY Occupational Therapy Teleservices Agreement
   

The Board of Directors will consider approving an Extended School Year (ESY) occupational therapy teleservices agreement with Soliant Health/VocoVision to provide occupational therapy services for eligible students during the 2026 ESY program. The agreement term is July 2, 2026, through July 29, 2026, at a rate of $115 per hour for up to 10 hours per week.

 
  AN. Approval of TeachTown enCORE K–12 Student Subscription Agreement
   

The Board of Directors will consider approving a three-year TeachTown enCORE K–12 Student Subscription agreement for Mojave River Academy. The subscription will provide student access to TeachTown instructional software from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2029. The fiscal impact is $101,250, billed annually at $33,750 per year.

 
  AO. Approval of Resolution Approving to Participate in California Schools Employee Benefits Association for Employee Dental Benefits
   

The Board will review and consider taking action to approve a resolution for Mojave River Academy Schools to participate in California Schools Employee Benefits Association (CSEBA) with respect to dental benefits. CSEBA is a California joint powers authority (JPA) that operates self-funded, and fully insured employee benefits plans. Approving the resolution and participating in the JPA means that Mojave River Academy Schools will be subject to the amended and restated Joint Powers Authority agreement for the California Schools Employee Benefits Association as a member.
