III. Other Business

A.

Other updates

Reviewing the raw data: point-in-time measure. It would be helpful to see the same data of the students from last year to get a sense of longitudinal performance.

Could look at trends by subject

Examine the raw data by an individual basis

Pathways for graduation - If students don't meet math or English requirements, what pathways are available for our seniors?

High School and Beyond Plans - student involvement

D. Walker checks student transcripts

Graduation pathways: Working with SPED students; pathways are limited because WIHS is a small school. Tech pathway has requirements that is not feasible for WIHS. Students are meeting requirements through Running Start classes if not met via the Smarter Balanced.

Brand new pathway going through OSPI and State Board of Ed, specifics should be out by end of January. Might be similar to portfolio based on what students have accomplished, which might be in more alignment with Phenomenon Based Learning and Senior Capstone, which is much more structured and in-depth.

Information for transcripts for SPED students meeting specific math requirements.

Respectfully Submitted,
