Call the Meeting to Order
P. Gordon called a meeting of the Enrollment Committee of F.W. Parker Charter Essential School to order on Thursday Mar 7, 2024 at 6:05 PM.

Approve Minutes
Motion to approve the minutes from Enrollment Committee on 02-14-24.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Discuss Accepted Student Days
Will hold 7 visiting student days. Days will begin with Div 1 students joining Carter and hosts in the gym and will end with lunch with student ambassadors in room 40. Parents are invited to stay 8:15-9:15 for Q&A with parent ambassadors plus Brian and Monique ending with tour.

Prepare for Ambassadors Meeting
Need to ask parent ambassadors to sign up for these morning visits with parents. Ask about holding an event in the spring. Ice cream social? Discuss adding new families to Friday letter and inviting to events. Discuss what's working.

Closed application period on March 1 with 262 applications. Lots of applications came in during the last week after February break. Have had 50 withdrawals during the year. Hope for less next year and to maintain waitlist during the year. Hope to start year with 400 students. Planning to make 85 offers for 7th grade.
