The Parker Fund 23-24
The group looked over the final numbers from FY23 and talked about where the additional $47K to achieve our $200K goal could come from if all other constituencies remained constant.
Groups to explore- alumni, Devens businesses, Friends of Parker, former faculty, matching gifts, events
Spring '24 events- alumni event- where should it be held? community event- what should the theme of this event be? (Alumni Influencing their fields?)
Should we have some mini-get-togethers to lead up to the 30th? Founding families or families from the early years?
The group went over the new abbreviated Mission Statement and talked about the plan for the group to transition from more of an advisory role to a more active, working group role. With the large scale events on the horizon- Spring '24 Alumni and community events and Spring '25 30th Anniversary events.
Stef and Brian both also spoke about the incredible importance of this group in the upcoming work.
