Supplemental award:

 

Process and procedures: On a case-by-case basis, WCSP subgrantees may request supplemental funds to complete the project as approved. To request supplemental funds, subgrantees must submit the following to the Department of Public Instruction (DPI):

  1. An updated budget summary, and
  2. A written rationale and description of the request.


 

Requests will only be considered if the following conditions have been met:

  1. Subgrantees  have at least 180 days to budget and claim the supplemental funds,
  2. At least 75% of funds have already been obligated, liquidated, and claimed, and
  3. The total amount awarded does not exceed $2,000,000. 


 

DPI will review requests to confirm that the supplemental funds are necessary, reasonable, and allocable in order to complete the project as approved. Subgrantees will receive notification of approval or denial of the award in a reasonable and timely manner, typically, subgrantees will be notified within 30 days of submitting the request. Supplemental funds may be partially awarded based on the request meeting the criteria and the available funds.
