IV. New Business

A.

Financial Audit Review

Blue & Company presented the findings of the audit for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.

B.

School Calendars

Tara Gustin presented the proposed 2023-2024 academic calendars for each Paramount campus. These calendars include a full week off for Thanksgiving break. Additionally, the calendars for the Lafayette and South Bend campuses don’t match the ones for the Indianapolis campuses entirely. This is to have better alignment with their corresponding districts.

C.

Enroll Indy Student Priority

Paramount is proposing that students from closing IPS schools have priority access for OneMatch enrollment through Enroll Indy for the upcoming school year. This would be in addition to the other priority students, which include siblings of existing students and students of staff and board members. The board will vote on this in December.

V. Operations Reports

A.

Navigation Team

There has been a strong launch to the school year, and the Navigation team has been working hard to get everything moving forward with the new campuses in South Bend and Lafayette.

B.

Principal Reports

Jason Smith and Allison Burgeson reviewed Paramount Englewood enrollment and academic data to show the board members their progress that they are making to hit goals this school year. The team also reviewed after school activities and family events that the school has hosted during the first semester.
