Call the Meeting to Order
T. Rude called a meeting of the board of directors of Paramount Schools of Excellence to order on Wednesday Jul 22, 2020 at 5:33 PM.

Manual Overview
T. Reddicks shared out measures the schools are taking to ensure the safety of staff and students. C. Park brought up Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Paramount will reach out to legal counsel to refine the Staff Handbook to ensure all new measures are included.

Start Date
T. Reddicks discussed the IPS decision to shift the opening date. Multiple arguments for opening on time and for shifting opening to align with IPS. These included responses from teachers and other partners. Based on staff and partner responses alongside the readiness level the schools are at for social distancing and virtual options, the decision to open on 8/3 stands.
