III. Executive Director/ Principal updates

A.

Organization Updates

- Proposing a meeting with SPS board.
- Meeting with Debra this week at SPS - academic benchmarks in strategic plan. 
- Generation outcomes - partnership with WSU - Innovia grant for research and summer school. - 
75% students partaking  - interview and survey 
- Enrollment - this year 45, Next year 60 - orientation days coming up 
- Onsite services - medical, WICK,

Principal Updates

- Graduation - story of a student who graduating 
- Strategic planning - HS level goals - represents this year with feedback 
- 9 Graduates - Huge Success 
- Community classes - most growth to take on for next year 
- Successful community class - Adulting 101 - taught by Amy Lloyd former Board member 
- Last Day of School - students stayed and stayed 
- Hiring 2 positions - Full time Student support, 15 hour a week office assistant - Linda retiring
- Attendance is the biggest obstacle at Lumen 
- 31 students had a significant impact on 
- Yearbooks - photo book

Early Learning Update

- Hired a new director - Whitney from Parkview 
- Running a Summer Program - rates comparable to SPS - few spots left 
- Capital Request - play space
