D. Shaw called a meeting of the board of directors of Western School of Science and Technology: CFA to order on Wednesday Mar 22, 2017 at 8:49 AM.

Discussion and Consideration of Previous Meeting Minutes: 3/2/2017
C. Pirrone made a motion to approve minutes from the Board Meeting on 03-02-17 Board Meeting on 03-02-17.
E. Borquez seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

II. Executive Session
A.
Executive Session 1; to discuss and consider a possible long-term suspension for student 17-02
C. Pirrone made a motion to I move that we move into executive session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(2) for discussion or consideration of records exempt by law from public inspection, including the receipt and discussion of information or testimony that is specifically required to be maintained as confidential by state or federal law.
E. Borquez seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
J. Kaprosy arrived.
E. Borquez made a motion to I move that Student #17-02 be suspended from Western School of Science and Technology effective immediately for a period of Additional 7 days suspension, where he can’t come until 4:15PM, to get his work, meet with teachers, make up work, and must be picked up by a parent by 5:30 PM
Hour of weekly counseling
No electronics on campus
No sports for remainder of school year, Keep journal and share with counselor, Healthy Relationship class, and 10 Community Service hours based on the testimony and evidence presented in executive session.

The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Executive Session 2; to discuss and consider a possible long-term suspension for student 17-03
E. Borquez made a motion to I move that we move into executive session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(2) for discussion or consideration of records exempt by law from public inspection, including the receipt and discussion of information or testimony that is specifically required to be maintained as confidential by state or federal law.

Borquez made a motion to I move that Student #17-03 be suspended from Western School of Science and Technology effective immediately for a period of an additional 2 days, may return March 27, 2017, Healthy relationship class, Community service in women’s rights area, Hour after school tutoring to increase grades, Chromebook may only be used under supervision on campus based on the testimony and evidence presented in executive session.
