The academic leadership team reviewed progress monitoring data. In literacy, school-wide the % of students at or above grade level benchmark increased from 56%-61%. In math, grades K, 1, and 4 are still in process of taking their current benchmarking assessment. From the available math data, the % of students in 2nd grade at or above grade level benchmark increased from 16%-23%. In 3rd grade, the % of students at or above grade level benchmark only increased from 22%-23%. This minimal growth in 2nd and 3rd grade is something the academic leadership team is looking into and concerned about. In 4th grade, the increased was 8% to 21%.
ESL Progress-monitoring writing assessments were completed and scored. Analysis to take place in coaching sessions this week.
The academic leadership team closed by previewing what will be coming up in Quarter 4, which runs from April - June.
