Call the Meeting to Order
A. Wright called a meeting of the Fundraising Committee of Lowcountry Montessori School to order on Monday Apr 27, 2026 at 4:04 PM.

Old Business
- Old business: none
- Spring Fling Planning:
- A. Wright shared copies of handout from M. Watkins about Cottage Law
- M. Watkins reports approval for kitchen and truck information sent in to SCDA
- V. Romig asked about liability for dancers; M. Watkins states should be covered under general liability
- V. Romig asked about plant sale; this will be done by Annie and Natasha
- A. Wright: We are still taking applications
- (Unrelated to spring fling) S. Fox shared idea for curio shop with donated items from families as future fundrasier in lieu of holiday shop
- Banner for Port Royal and Beaufort will be created in-house
- M. Crowder shared that art sale will not be done this year; has not been profitable in past. Will come up with an idea for art department participation for next year's event
- D. Lunin shared that shed was $1000 for materials
- discussion of raffle vs silent auction ($10 ticket if raffle?)
- move out shed for viewing during Spring Fling
- free delivery within 15 miles
- Run raffle May 4-May 20
- V. Romig suggested a video to promote the raffle; D. Lunin will do that
- Discussion of payment (square vs QR code?)
- O. Hawkins will plug food truck contacts into spreadsheet
- R. Beck will make a 2027 tab for next year vendors
- Vendor application deadline of Wednesday, May 13
- V. Romig will get an additional vendor list to A. Wright
- Discussed asking Doug to work 12-4 for event
- Friday evening dunk tank drop off (S. Fox making signup genius for dunk tank)
- S. Fox will check with Chad about tie dye station
- R. Beck said Candice can make 4 cakes for cakewalk
- Students perform 1:30-2:30 (J. Poole will speak with band and Sam to discuss timing)
- Francy will do signage
- Shark photo opp?
- A. Wright will send signage info to Francy and sign up info to Sarah
- R. Beck will order posters; A. Wright will update size as needed

- Committee decided to push future fundraiser discussion to after Spring Fling
