A. Cummings called a meeting of the board of trustees of New Heights Academy Charter School to order on Thursday Mar 26, 2026 at 7:30 PM.

Vote on New Trustees

Trustee Nomination

  • The Board clarified that no formal vote to seat a trustee could occur without approval from the authorizer (NYC DOE).
  • The purpose of this item was to express intent to nominate.

Candidate Presentation

  • Dr. Michelle Anderson shared:
    • Prior experience with the school
    • Strong institutional knowledge
    • Commitment to partnerships and community connections
