Discuss Recruitment of New Board Members
The process has started for recruiting new board members. Kwende Jones
has a collegue that may be interested in serving on Wesley Board. Jason Marshall and Kwende Jones met collegue for lunch.
Donica Johnson and Jason Marshall attended a United Way event that brings people
interested in non -profits. 2 people from event want to visit Wesley.
Kwende Jones encourages all board members to thiink of someone they know and feels like they would be a good fit . Good board members come from referrals. Interviews will start in February.

Discuss Governance Committee's Role with Move to New School
Jason Marshall recommends a slight hold on discussion until he recevies more information
from APS.
For now, move will be June 2025. His plan is to have tours for community and teachers to see temporary space at the appropriate time.

A.
Develop a Salary Scale for leadership
Add this to next Governance meeting in January.
Donica Johnson updates committee on the following:
Reviewing data to ensure joining common appplication is helpful for our enrollment.
Doug Hrabe has some ideas for data. This will be discussed in next Governance Committeee
Current student count is 762
Open House Tours start after Thanksgiving and continues into February.
For open house there will be Ambasssadors, Flyers updated, Social Media, website revisions.
The most common questions parents ask are: Teacher/student ratio, curriculum, schedule,
and safety.
