Attendance: Teacher and Student
January student attendance lowest of the year. Questions arose regarding illness at this time of year and whether students were late returning from the break.
Staff (all employees) attendance raised a number of questions because data suggests a significant (26.5%) portion of staff have missed more than 10 days. Jason Marshall identified that staff are docked pay when they go over their allocated PTO days.
Administrators will look to see if pre-COVID numbers are consistent with current data.
Ms. Gibson & Mr. Chung have not missed a day this year.
C.
Discipline Update
Discipline data was not updated due to expected switch of systems that track referrals. The new system is easier to extract referral data from and develop analysis.
PBIS data will be analyzed based on GA PBIS indicators.
MYP is starting a Youth Participatory Action Research group. Ten participants have been selected who have a mix of discipline outcomes. The group will develop survey questions, analyze the resultant data, and developing an action plan.
Mr. Pavone presented comparative data from APS Insight. Questions regarding performance of KIPP Strive and Centennial Academy were noted. Wesley performance was on the higher end of a majority of the performance indicators.
