Re Entry Plan Presentation

Pushing back the start date until the 25th due to political unrest possible at the state capitol. Also provides an opportunity to roll the plan out a little slower. Staff will be notified before Thursday that they will not be returning on the 19th.

Intent to return data - 78% of families answered the survey on whether they would return or not.  46% of responses wanted to return in person. 7th is the lowest to want to return. 36% will be returning in person. k-2 has the highest # returning to brick and mortar.

5th grade - 24 in person return but no teachers to return so they will remain virtual.
3rd - 1 teacher in building. Lottery will be held to cut the number down to 24 as that is the max # allowed in a class.

** Much more completion on this survey than the last one sent out a few months ago, but it did not change much since that survey.

PYP:

Each teacher interacts with a team of students each day.
6th- 1 teacher in the building and Chinese is split evenly. If subject area teacher is not here they will have class virtually with that teacher in the classroom. They will engage the same way as they have been.
7th - all teachers have elected to remain at home.
8th - 2 not coming back and 2 will.
Supervision when teacher is virtual - support staff will cover the class while the teacher is at home. So this is pod learning - the "holes" have been plugged.

PYP - In person and virtual students are still with at least their classmates.

MYP - remain in same classroom all day and students will be projected to the back of the room and the teacher will be teaching from the smartboard at the front. Teachers who are in the building will teach in the classroom.

Intent to return rates - APS rates are really close to our numbers.

Renting tents to teach so we can use all of the space available.

Respectfully Submitted,
J. Hansen
