Call the Meeting to Order
T. Tidwell called a meeting of the Governance Committee of Wesley International Academy to order on Monday Jan 13, 2020 at 4:45 PM.

Motion to approve Agenda
T. Tidwell made a motion to approve agenda.
M. Guertin seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
D.
Approve Minutes from December 2019 meeting
T. Tidwell made a motion to approve the minutes from Governance Committee Meeting on 12-16-19.
T. Ryan-Lawrence seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

Discuss and approve school calendar for SY 2019-2020
T. Tidwell made a motion to approve Option #1 of school calendar.
T. Ryan-Lawrence seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Discuss minor edits to Bylaws

Discuss white paper on weighted lottery

APS Single Select Lottery plan
Lottery will be March 12th; so as long as we get info to them in advance we will be fine. Lottery results will be released March 16th. All charter schools except Drew are participating.
Jason will be the primary rep on the Advisory Committee to APS and Fran Carroll will attend as much as possible and serve as back-up.
