Call the Meeting to Order
M. Guertin called a meeting of the Governance Committee of Wesley International Academy to order on Monday Jun 17, 2019 at 4:30 PM.

Approve May 2019 Committee Meeting Minutes
T. Tidwell made a motion to approve minutes from the Governance Committee Meeting on 05-20-19 Governance Committee Meeting on 05-20-19.
T. Ryan-Lawrence seconded the motion.
The motion unanimously did not carry.
II. Teacher scholar program
A.
Ideas about teach Scholar Program
M. Guertin arrived.
L. Price arrived.
III. Parent and Staff Handbooks
A.
Vote to approve parent and staff handbooks
T. Tidwell made a motion to Adopt parent handbooks for PYP and MYP subject to changes being made regarding board members, leadership, gender identity and some typos discussed at meeting.
J. Hansen seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
