Public comments are encouraged and must remain in accordance with WIA policies and procedures. The board allows any stakeholder an open forum to state their comments during any regularly scheduled or special meeting of the Board of Directors.

• This is not a question and answer session, but rather an opportunity for stakeholders to share their thoughts and opinions in a respectful manner.

| A. | Spring Training with GCSA | |
|
Need to schedule our Spring training with GCSA. This will help get each board member closer to the required training hours needed by June 30, 2021.
Trainings are typically on a Tuesday or Thursday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm or 4:30pm to 8:30pm.
Please email Thomas and Doug any Tuesdays and Thursdays you are NOT available in March and April by this Friday, March 5, 2021.

| B. | Remaining Training Requirements SY20-21 | |
|
All board members must have at least 9 hours of training, broken out in the appropriate categories on the attached training tracker.
Every year, we enroll in the GCSA Digital Governance program, which allows board members to complete training through live and pre-recorded webinars.
We completed the registration for this year earlier this week and are awaiting access.
This year, GCSA is using Canvas as a host learning management system. Please keep an eye on your WIA emails for an invitation to access the content.

So far this year, we are at 77% board giving (10 out of 13 board members).
100% board giving opens a lot of doors for the organization from a fundraising perspective. Also, it's the right thing to do :D

Academic Committee is now meeting every other month. No meeting was held in February.
Next meeting is scheduled for March 16th.

Development Committee did not meet in February.
General Update:
We have exceeded our fundraising goal for the year and are on track to exceed our stretch goal of $75,000.
We are still looking for business sponsors of Wesley. So please reach out to Laura (laura.compton@wesleyacademy.org) if you know of any businesses who would like to support us.
Next meeting is scheduled for March 18th.
